Throughout the history, wars have many wanted and unwanted consequences which have great impact on the present and future situation of conflict society and its surrounding areas. Among them displacement, Immigration and mass Refugee, deploy and prevalence of Violence culture and extremism, culture and civilization monument destruction, serious threat to the family, social solidarity and degradation of collective identity reduction, by increasing divisions ethnic and religious divisions and also cultural and social disorders and constructed false identities and so on can be mentioned. Raiding on Iraq and occupying this country was no exception. It has had many cultural and social consequences which has subjected Iraq under too many social and cultural damages and Disruptions. All of them were resulted from violence, insecurity and instability caused by the war and the occupation of the country, while news about the cultural consequences of the occupation, often have been focused on Ancient relics destruction and looting of the country and less has been said about another dimensions of occupation. This paper after discussing cultural consequences regarding to the issue of identity and positive impact on Iraqi culture in new law of the country, attempts to present a proper assessment of the cultural consequences of the occupation of the country. At last the question of the research, what have been the cultural consequences of the occupation, would be answered.

In the arena of Universal contemporary art, Underground music is a field to express thoughts of singers of this style of music. This discourse includes different types of protest to love and hate. The text of this kind of music's are emanating from thoughts and beliefs of its singers and their thoughts are formed in terms of their social base. The main purpose of this study is the reflection of social problems in texts of Yas songs who is a well-known Persian social rapper. The approach is based on the idea that art always is a reflection of what society tells us. Given the assumptions of this approach as one of the important approaches in the sociology of art, it was used to check the above object. The research method is qualitative and a total 23 texts of songs including social issues with highest frequency of downloading are selected as research sample which all of them are available. Findings show that selected texts from songs of Yas reflect eleven social problems such as poverty, addiction, divorce, prostitution, unemployment, street children, suicide, gangs and anti-social, burglary and theft, betrayal and spread of abnormal moods in the society. More themes in analysis of texts were symbols to express ideas and concerns and problems and concerns of society members, especially deprived people.

The word culture has many different meanings. However, for anthropologists and other behavioral scientists, culture is the full range of learned human behavior patterns and is that complex whole which includes knowledge, belief, art, law, morals, custom, and any other capabilities and habits acquired by man as a member of society. Culture is a powerful human tool for survival, but it is a fragile phenomenon. It is constantly changing and easily lost because it exists only in our minds. Environmental Graphic Design (EGD) can play a role in social life of urban societies. EGD embraces many design disciplines including graphic, architectural, interior, landscape, and industrial design, all concerned with the visual aspects of way-finding, communicating identity and information, and shaping the idea of creating experiences that connect people to place. However, the question is how much this role may be quantitatively effective in a given community and contribute to different dimensions and aspects of its culture. The focus of this study is to measure, quantitatively, the effect of using EGD on primary school students’ attitude and behavior with regard to separating waste material. The study enjoys a time-series quasi experimental design. To this end, a primary school in Isfahan was randomly selected from among the girls’ schools. The sample who participated in the study were 230 fourth-, fifth-, and sixth-graders. After three pretests, the EGD was implemented where the students’ awareness towards separation of waste material was raised. The treatment included educating, informing, and encouraging the use of sorted waste baskets. This was followed by three post-tests. Both pretests and post-tests involved three measures each time a measure of the volume and weight of the waste material was obtained. A questionnaire was also used to study the effectiveness of EGD in improving the participants’ awareness, attitude, and behavior. The questionnaire was developed by experts in the field. Results showed significant difference between the amount of waste material before and after implementation of EGD. The results also showed changes in the participants’ attitude towards handling waste material. Results of the Q also showed improvements in the attitude of the school teachers and students in using waste material sorting baskets.

Theatrical presentation is accounted as one of the first artistic works of human being. its role and effect on the society and culture cannot be ignored. Different templates, forms and styles have been dealt with the theatrical presentation along with the cultural and social changes throughout the history. The satiric and comic theatrical presentation is accounted as one of the most prominent styles which has been more popular than other styles and it has been attracted many audiences. An important part of theatrical presentation׳s validity, especially the satiric ones, depends on audience attending; therefore the reasons and motives of audience attending will be the most important issue which should be considered. Accordingly, the research considers the audience of satiric theatrical presentation in theaters of Tehran through the qualitative perspective and tries to interpret and validate the reasons and motives of the audience attending through field data, interview with the audience, participant observation and use of theories. Finally, the reasons and motives of the audience attending explained in the following five main structures and components including accompanying the friends and relatives, entertainment, relaxation, being against the current culture and specialized utilizing.

This article studies four episodes of BBC Persian’s “Pargar” on the relation between religion and modernism, and specifically Islam and politics using discourse analysis. It concludes that the dominant discourse of Pargar is philosophical-ideological and political secularism. These two discourses reject and deny the combination of religion and politics and reject the idea of religious governance and also indicate symbolic violence against political Islam and try to eliminate it. Since they have power and access to public tribunes, they express their understanding of the world in the form of a discourse and give all affairs and phenomena a meaning congruent to their core signifier. Secular discourse works towards defining and empowering and also suppressing and omitting. Secularism is formed against Islamic tradition and faith and also becomes a legitimizing principle to suppress political activities in the region.

Today the role of sports and physical activities are going beyond an exercise or a kind of entertainment, and has various health, social, cultural, economic, and most importantly political and international functions. The widely spread around the world; sport has become as an international instrument in international relations. The internationalization of some kind of sports has led many countries to see international sports competition as a field to advance their national interests and political goals. In this context, the concept of sports diplomacy beside other types of diplomacy has emerged. Today, facing globalization, national and ethnic identities have become more important in micro and macro cultural fields. In globalization process, pride worthies of one nation have direct relation with cultural identity. Pride worthies are person or Phenomenon that we can be proud of them. In various cultures and civilizations some research has be done about figures but more of them are about persons who are elites or famous in one or several fields like science, art, culture, politics, religious and etc. The main purpose of this research is redefinition of the concept pride worthy in Iranian contemporary culture. In order to achieve this purpose, the following questions must be answered. What is the meaning and scope of pride worthies and are there any factors or the criteria for identifying these pride worthies? Although in the first section of this paper, concept and scope of pride worthies have been studied and in the other part, identity dimension as the most important function of pride worthies’ cognition has been studied. Maybe professional dimension of one pride worthy be attractive for expert persons of that field but identity dimension could elevate public culture and national and ethnic identities in wider area. This research is done with exploratory-explanatory method and the main result of it is introduction and cognition of cultural and artistic pride worthies of one nation and effort to make models for members of society, will be effective to elevate individual, social and national identities.

Relationship between capital and the rate of capitals' transformation into each other is of utmost importance. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between symbolic capital and cultural capital facets. In this regard, a major hypothesis and three minor hypotheses are formed. Symbolic capital consists of three dimensions: visualized capital, objectified capital, institutionalized capital. Research method is practical with respect to its purpose, is descriptive regarding its nature and is a kind of survey study. Data analysis is taken place using SPSS 19 and lisrel 8.8 software. The population under investigation consists of 4620 individuals. Number of individuals in the sample is determined to be 353 using Kerjsi-Morgan table. Cronbach Alpha coefficients for symbolic capital and cultural capital are equal to 0.846 and 0.934, respectively. The findings show that the rate of the relationships (r) between social capital and cultural capital facets (visualized, objectified, institutionalized) equals 0.91, 0.75 and 0.71, respectively and the rate of the total relationship between social capital and cultural capital is equal to 0.89. The results indicate that individuals, who possess a higher symbolic capital, have a greater cultural capital. If we want to change or influence a culture in a society, we must use different types of symbolic capital (economic, social and cultural) and direct the existing cultural capital towards the expected goal of (our symbolic capital).
