Abstract
The present research is a qualitative quantitative (mixed) research which has been done in order to analyzing attitudes of social communication experts on the factors affecting Nomophobia among Islamic Azad University Students. We first extracted the features and components with a qualitative approach and data analysis method. Based on this, in-depth interviews were conducted with 22 professors and elites with teaching and research backgrounds in the fields of media, social communication sciences and communication sociology. Analysis of data base of qualitative sector data, lead to extraction; 72 concepts, six main categories and 19 sub-categories, with the greatest emphasis on the four main components; Individual and family factors, cultural, social, economic and political factors, intervening factors and the role of the media in the occurrence of the phenomenon of immobile phobia. In the second stage of the research to measure the findings of the quality sector (four factors in the occurrence of the phenomenon of non-mobile phobia); Quantitative approach and navigation method were used. The data collection tool in the quantitative section was a standard, researcher-made questionnaire approved by experts with 40 questions, the reliability of which was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha test. The unit of analysis in the quantitative section were the students. After testing the hypotheses, the relationship between the factors of lack of self-awareness and anxiety, lack of self-confidence, ostentation, media literacy, dependence on smart phones and cyberspace, reading, skills and self-control was confirmed with the occurrence of mobile phobia.
